June 7 (Tue)

11:00-11:30

HUTZPER INC.

Based on our optical system design ideas and patented data collection technology, we are developing a “fast, cheap, and skillful” appearance inspection AI. We understand that in the food manufacturing industry, traditional rule-based sensors frequently cause misdetections as a result of individual differences and ambiguous defect criteria. Inspections using AI technology, on the other hand, can learn and judge individual differences and ambiguous criteria as if they were being visually inspected by human-beings.

13:00-13:30

ROBOTS TOWN CO., LTD.

An industry first! About FOOD TOWN, an automation service for the food industry. FOOD TOWN is a company specializing in food factory automation with the mission of “making food factories the best place to work in the world”.
This is the industry’s first service that provides all of the information required for food industry automation, allowing an automation professional advisor to solve problems and make ideal solutions if you have the consultations on a hearing sheet.

14:00-14:30

ECOLOGGIE INC.

The term “entomophagy” has gotten a lot of press in recent years. The oddity of these delicacies has caught the attention of the media, and they have recently become frequent items in convenience stores and supermarkets. With our research knowledge from Waseda University, we have developed into a raw material manufacturer that produces, processes, and distributes crickets on our own. The more we expand the use of crickets as a sustainable protein, the more we can create a sustainable world. We will describe how the company operates and how the raw materials are utilized in the presentation.

15:00-15:30

FINGERVISION CO., LTD.

We are working on a tactile sensor for robots based on the technical concept of “reproducing the sense of touch through visuals (cameras). By installing touch sensors on the fingertips of robot hands, the distribution of force and slippage can be perceived. This is the same as a robot being able to make movements as if it were a human-being delicately holding or adjusting its grip on an object with the sensation of the palm. On the day of the event, we will introduce the robot with examples of its use in food factory manufacturing processes.

June 8 (Wed)

11:00-11:30

LIGHTBLUE TECHNOLOGY

We will introduce a manpower-saving service for store management using “HumanSensingAI”, which is a human-focused image analysis system. We will also introduce high-quality manpower-saving solutions in management and supervision through analysis of client and worker dynamics and movements at food and beverage stores, food processing, logistics, and retail sites as examples of real sites with people and spatial DX.

13:00-13:30

TEBIKI, INC.

How did other companies overcome the three educational challenges faced by food factories? (1) A severe shortage of human resources and foreign employee training, (2) A higher rate of workplace accidents and safety training than in other industries, and (3) Standardization of work and a shift to multi-skilled workers. With the theme of “Learning from actual examples of companies that have adopted video manuals”, we will describe video manuals in this lecture, including the impacts of introduction and examples of use.

14:00-14:30

TOKYO DYNAMICS CO., LTD.

Our global technology company offers automation systems tailored to your needs, including multi-picking systems and energy-saving solutions, which are customizable, compact, flexible positioning, and newly designed. Why not come and speak with us?

15:00-15:30

MODELOR

“Allergy leaks”, “false place of origin”, and “recalls” are just a few of the reputational dangers associated with food labelling. However, even if a company is aware of compliances and tries to comply with laws and regulations, it requires a lot of knowledge and labors, and it is becoming difficult for most companies to cope with it. Furthermore, the complexity is increasing year after year, and it is possible that we are approaching the limit of what companies can handle. We will show you how to use a system to simply develop and manage such “food labels”, as well as how to efficiently create and manage the “specifications” that go along with it.

June 9 (Thu)

11:00-11:30

ALGAL BIO CO., LTD.

We have created the world’s first algae development platform, which is based on a shared development approach, delivering technology to partner companies looking to build new sustainable algae-based goods and solutions. For development themes brought to us by partners working in various industries, we select the most suitable algae strains from our diverse algae libraries and accumulated genomics and phenomics data. In addition, we offer our clients original “algae” technology packages that combine optimal cultivation methods and breeding improvements (non-genetic recombination).

13:00-13:30

ICS-NET INC.

We would like to tell you about “Share Shima”, a website that connects those who want to sell food items with people who are looking for them. Why don’t you use the Internet to conduct business with food ingredients, which was formerly done by manpower?
https://shareshima.com/home

14:00-14:30

CLOSER, INC.

Closer, an AI robotics company from the University of Tsukuba, is developing robot systems to supplement labor for the food industry, which is difficult to automate. It has the vision of “realizing a society where the choice to replace challenging activities with AI robotics technology is normal.” We will discuss our attempts to create robot systems that are “compact,” “compatible with high-mix low-volume production,” and “simple to operate” with the goal of removing entry barriers.

15:00-15:30

UNIVERSAL FOOD MACHINE COMPANY LTD.

①History and background of the company’s establishment and an overview of the company’s business
②The relationship between our company’s operation and labor-saving and unmanned power in food manufacturing engineering
③Description of the new product, “Automatic Continuous Feeding Device for Sachets of Hot-spring Egg Sauce”, including its features, functions, specifications, and key applications

June 10 (Fri)

11:00-11:30

CANBRIGHT

After working as a system engineer for 15 years, we launched our own canning venture. With “gentleness” as the subject, we developed the “this is what I wanted” functionality that we felt from the experience of starting up a food manufacturing business. We will introduce an integrated cloud ERP for food manufacturing business for small and medium-sized enterprises that can handle products, goods, and materials, as well as digitalize records required for ordering, web catalog, inventory management, and hygiene management. On-site customization of hygiene record templates for HACCP compliance will also be provided.

13:00-13:30

I-KENSA SYSTEMS LLC.

Many foreign material checks are integrated into the production line just for the purpose of inspection and are unrelated to information about the provenance of the raw material or contaminated product. Considering that the information gathered as a consequence of inspections may benefit the entire supply chain from upstream to downstream, it would be regrettable if it were just used for inspections. The I-KENSA System is a brand-new system that aims to function as a “platform” that contributes to enhancing the quality of raw materials, products, and labelling.

14:00-14:30

SPICE CUBE INC.

Due to a shrinking agricultural population, there appear the problems such as food-sufficient rate, an aging society, job challenges for the physically challenged, and livelihood support under self-restraint restrictions and other issues. With LED lighting and cultivation technology that circulates nutrient solutions, it is easy to produce agricultural products. We believe that if we can disseminate this cultivation technology not only to businesses, but also to individual lives, we would be able to make a better society. Since veggies may be grown using simply water and electricity, high-quality vegetables that are “pesticides-free, safe and secure” can be easily developed by anyone anywhere in agriculture. The agricultural equipment is about the size of a 1m² bookshelf, so it can simply be placed, and its maintenance-free structure and reduced farm work (1 hour per week) make it suitable for your lifestyle.

15:00-15:30

CONNECTED ROBOTICS

Since 2017, Connected Robotics has delivered many automated robots to the foodservice business. Now, the company is taking on the challenge of automating the food manufacturing industry. Under the theme of “Innovating the food industry with robotics”, the company has achieved automation of the “serving and inspection” process, which was previously regarded to be unachievable. We would like to introduce the cutting edge of food manufacturing automation, which has been revolutionized by the power of “food” x “AI” x “robotics”, with videos and real-world examples.
