Personally Identifiable Information of users of this Site
The Secretariat may collect Personally Identifiable Information (name, occupation, title, address, email address, telephone number, fax number, etc.) of users of this Site. Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information to third parties
The Secretariat will not disclose the submitted Personally Identifiable Information to third parties except when any of the following applies.
- The user has consented.
When it is necessary to disclose Personally Identifiable Information to partner companies, affiliated companies and subcontracted companies that have signed a confidentiality agreement with the Secretariat in order to implement the collection purpose disclosed to the user (in such cases, the Secretariat will require that the user’s Personally Identifiable Information be protected in accordance with the Secretariat’s rules).
- When processed into a state in which the individual user cannot be identified for the purpose of statistical data (information collected using cookie functions and IP address information are not Personally Identifiable Information).
- When required by law or regulation.
Disclosure, correction and deletion of Personally Identifiable Information
Requests for disclosure, correction of errors or deletion of a user’s Personally Identifiable Information should be made to this Site’s contact address.
The Secretariat will promptly perform the disclosure, correction or deletion after confirming that the request is from the User himself/herself.
The Secretariat will notify the user of any corrections or deletions. Please note that the Secretariat may ask you to present necessary identification in order to confirm that you are the user.
The Secretariat may send services and information it considers beneficial to the user by email; if you do not require this, please contact the Secretariat via this Site’s contact address or using the method the Secretariat presented when the Personally Identifiable Information was provided. The Secretariat will cease the sending of such information.
Measures when Personally Identifiable Information is used other than for the purpose of collection
When the Secretariat uses a user’s Personally Identifiable Information for a purpose other than that was disclosed and consented to when the Personally Identifiable Information was collected, the Secretariat will notify the user via email based on the most recently received Personally Identifiable Information from the user. If the user does not consent to the use for a different purpose, the Secretariat will not use the user's Personally Identifiable Information for new purposes. However, if contacting the user is exempted by law or regulation, the Secretariat will take measures in accordance with the relevant law or regulation.
Management of Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information submitted by users is strictly managed by the administrator and managers of this Site and appropriate measures are taken to prevent leakage, misuse, falsification, etc. Access to Personally Identifiable Information by a third party who has a confidentiality agreement with the Secretariat will be conducted in accordance with the instructions of the administrator and managers of this Site.
Measures such as the establishment of a strong firewall and thorough detection using virus protection programs are implemented in order to prevent external unauthorized access and viruses, and the Secretariat will continue to make further improvements in the future. This Site also uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on all pages that require Personally Identifiable Information. These measures protect the confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information submitted by the user which is transferred over the Internet.
