The 45th FOOMA JAPAN 2022 will take place over four days, from June 7 (Tues.) to 10 (Fri.), with a record number of exhibitors, and will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for the first time in three years.
The theme of FOOMA Japan 2022 is “Restart FOOMA”. The word “Restart” here embodies our three resolutions: to overcome the COVID-19 disaster, take actions in preparation for Japan’s next stage of economic development, reopen the exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight, and make new proposals that will bring changes.
The social environment surrounding food, as well as the food industry that has evolved the food scene, is undergoing a wave of changes. FOOMA JAPAN 2022 will feature cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art products, such as technologies for increased productivity and efficiency, robots and artificial intelligence (AI) for automation and labor-saving purpose, while ensuring food safety and security. We will contribute to the continued development of the food industry as a whole by exhibiting products and systems.
In addition, as all industries require sustainable development and progress, the exhibition will serve as a stepping stone for the organizer and exhibitors to define their development goals in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

FOOMA JAPAN 2022 is a comprehensive exhibition featuring all types of food processing solutions, which is FOOMA JAPAN’s aim. The exhibition will allow visitors to discover the ideals of food manufacturing by highlighting the attraction of exhibitors’ products and services more than ever.
We have introduced innovative projects in addition to attempting to improve the substance of our exhibition. We have also developed the FOOMA Awards to recognize remarkable technologies in the food machinery industry, in addition to the newly established Startup Zone as part of our open innovation programs. We are confident that the exhibition will be a worthy tribute to the theme of the exhibition - Restart FOOMA - through innovative initiatives such as the launch of the FOOMA App, a mobile application that visitors may use conveniently.
